It was early fall of 2017. Bryson and Amanda were both grabbing lunch at work and ended up sitting together with mutual colleagues. Time stopped for a few moments as their eyes locked and brief introductions were made. Shortly thereafter, Amanda was back to her desk to carry on with the day. After that short encounter, an imprint was left on Bryson’s heart and mind.
Bryson spent the next 8 months wondering how they could meet again. As fate would have it, he was called to join a team working directly for the global CEO of the company, which happened to be the very same team Amanda was on. Their positions were very demanding, with 24/7 “on call” expectations in a high pressure environment. As a result, they began to spend a great deal of time together. Their working relationship quickly grew into a wonderful companionship built on trust, loyalty and humor. They both had deep feelings for each other, but it wasn’t until Amanda summoned the courage to express her true feelings for Bryson that things would change. It was something she can only describe as her heart on fire and clearly the feeling was mutual.
They became inseparable, traveling back and forth between NYC and Philadelphia to be together. There were spontaneous international adventures, long summer weekends on the water and a cross country move to San Francisco. It was a whirlwind of fun and adventure as their love grew deeper.
