Chris grew up on the “Main Line” of Philadelphia, in the town of Villanova. His family lived in an amazing country home called Highclere. Having spent summers riding waves and running the beaches in Avalon, some might say that he was living the dream. That is, until you found out that during the school year Chris was busy working and waiting tables to help pay for his education. In his spare time, he gardened and climbed ladders, and was a “Mr. fix it” maintenance guy for the family home in Villanova. His parents had their hands full with 8 mouths to feed, a home that needed some constant upkeep and a business to build and run. Chris was always up for the task of helping out.
Chris attended Villanova University, relishing the year they won their first NCAA Championship, what a great ride! Shortly after graduating, he started his journey in the Big Apple working for his brother at the French building in Rockefeller Center. He quickly realized that a short stint in New York City was all that he needed. Moving back to Avalon, NJ, he started a glass and window construction business with another one of his brothers. That wasn’t going to be it either. Chris started working for a small radio station and enjoyed every possible moment with his parents at the beach. It was when he landed a role at the largest news radio station in Philadelphia that things would change and doors he never imagined would open and close. It brought him back to the Main Line and was the catalyst for his journey to love and his first novel, I Guess a Drink is Out of the Question. Chris owned a small gourmet coffee business that took him to some of his favorite destinations in the islands. Coffee and reading…add a big juicy steak, some red wine or a martini and a big slice of chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream. Now we’re talking!
I am one of 8 children and I have a twin sister. They tell me this makes me more in tune to the female psyche than the average male. There were two sets of twins in our family, and yes…my Mom was a Saint!
When I was in my late 20’s, I chased down my dream to be a kicker for the NFL. I am still dreaming about it.
I once met Courteney Cox and I’m pretty sure that she tried to pick me up (at least that is the way I like to remember it)

I wanted to go to soccer camp in Europe, but my parents thought I was too young to travel so far on my own.
When I was 5 years old, I had my tonsils removed because I was always sick. I decided to take them to kindergarten for show and tell. My years of being sick had ended, thank God!
Pedicures are the bomb, especially the kind that come with the hot stone calf and foot massage. It’s good to be pampered every so often.

My parents were amazing role models and I miss them dearly. What I wouldn’t do to have a happy hour with them at the beach.
I’m not sure if my wife agrees that I am more in tune with the female psyche than the average male, but she does love my foot rubs…
And yes, it is pretty cool having Bond as a last name.
