Valentine’s Day is here! Yes, it is that time of year where we all try to figure out how to express our love and affection to the one we love! What to do, what to get…the stress and pressure to get somebody something. Flowers, chocolate, jewelry, or how about a his and her massage or a half-day pampering package? My wife and I try not to take it all too seriously. Don’t get me wrong, It’s all about love, but it’s kind of nice that my wife thinks she has enough jewelry!  At least for now… All kidding aside, we have fun carrying love with us all year long. Whether it’s Valentine’s Day or any random day of the year, love is always welcome!

One great thing about Valentine’s Day is that it gives an opportunity for a guy or girl to express their true feelings for someone. Maybe it’s a single rose, a rendezvous at a chic cafe for a cup of coffee or some other thoughtful gesture. Maybe this Valentine’s Day you do something nice for your sister or brother or maybe a random act of kindness for somebody else. Love comes in all kinds of shapes and colors. We need love in this world more than ever and spreading love by doing kind chivalrous acts is something that should be in our daily lives all the time. Try holding the door open for someone, giving up a parking space you know is yours, or helping an elderly person with their groceries. We all have boy/girl scout hearts inside of us, so if you start sharing it during Valentine’s Day maybe it will continue to show itself throughout the rest of the year! Love is contagious, let it spread.
