It was the summer before the start of Senior year at Texas Christian University (TCU). Pierce had moved to a new spot off campus with some of his fraternity brothers. The guys were hanging out in front of their new house as a group of beautiful girls came walking out of the neighboring house. They were two groups of friends who had not yet crossed paths, and immediate friendships blossomed!
The group hung out together all summer long and through senior year, playing beerpong and mastering all of the college drinking games. While most of the group had paired off as couples, Zoe and Pierce were quickly becoming best friends. Both had their eye on someone else that they were hoping to date, so they schemed together and gave each other dating advice. They rode a tandem bike together, went to formals as friends and always looked out for one another, because that’s what best friends do. Everyone thought that they were a couple, but that was not the case. Instead, there was friendship, trust and a very special bond.
